The stupid locking tremolo on my guitar decided to rebalance itself when a string broke yesterday, so now it's pointing into the body and goes out of tune really quickly so I need to rebalance it now which is annoying.

So you've ALREADY broken your new guitar?

No, it's not broken. It rebalances so that if a string breaks during a show the guitar still stays in tune for a while. All I need to do to fix it is to open the back and turn a screw.

Put a bandage on it. That'll make it all better.

I have to go at the weekend with Mum and Dad to see Grandma and Granddad in Kendal, which is basically in the middle of nowhere. Their house is SO BOOOOOORING!!!

Though that's really a big fat lie. They just want to go up to Kendal to do bloody business with a family friend about the goddamn shop...

I'm annoyed that the current version of the iPod classic firmware has a bug in where sometimes the iPod's hard drive won't actually stop spinning when it's turned off. So basically, the battery drains and drains and drains even though it's turned off, so then you get stuck with a message telling you to connect to power until you charge it up again.

Hurry up Apple.

I'm annoyed that people think iPods are somehow better than regular mp3 players.

The way that, having spent a week preparing my Harold Shipman costume, I only get one chance to wear it at the pre-emptive Tuesday Halloween party before coming down with some kind of bug and not being able to do anything on actual Halloween. Bah.

Catch-up drinking. Like now for instance, having decided to go out at the last minute, I have been attempting to drink very quickly to catch up to the state of drunkenness currently possessed by my housemates, with the end result that I'm really not very drunk and yet still feel quite sick.

That is a Bad Thing.

Also the fact that my hair looking good the way it does now comes at a price of 40% reduced vision.

Having a hairstyle vaguely similar to yours at the moment in that mine also involves a semi-side-parting (actually, now that I think about it it's more than vaguely similar... the only difference is that you're blonde and I've a widow's peak, but anyway), I can vouch that it's a trade-off between that or having to always flick/tweak your hair out of your eye. It all depends on which you find less annoying. Fashion! But at what cost? Or something. Razz

What buggers my buggery receptacle? Being on a night out with a sizeable amount of people from my course for the first time (most other times it involved myself and about three other people, which is good, but not in the same league as the random cheering and reckless hugging and gleeful chaos of 31 people you know, all being wasted at once in a nice pub), and having a generally fantastic time, getting on incredibly well with this unbelievably nice and thoroughly pretty girl that you can't believe has so much in common with you, but then having to fecking well leave at 12, right before everyone heads to the lovely indie-orientated nightclub they had planned to go to, ensuring that I'll probably never see her again and... for FECK's sake, it's not right. Or fair. ARGH. *(head + table)-related trauma and general depressive antics*

The fact that people keep ignoring my RP's.
RP #1 (You guys gave up too quickly on this one.)
RP #2 (I'm just waiting for Upsilon on this one - where is he, anyway?)

Ah, come on now, you might see her again. Just go to that club the same night another week and she might be there.

So I was in town today and I went into Gregg's, as you do. Couldn't decide which sweetmeats to avail myself of, so I decided to go for the tried and true method of buying them all - namely a chocolate doughnut, a gingerbread bear thing and an enticing-looking chocolate thing with a Flake on top. Well, as everyone knows, Flakes can never be the harbinger of anything bad, so I bought one of those too. I get home, start eating it, and after I'm halfway through what do I find in the middle, lurking between lovely chocolate sponge, chocolate icing and Flake? JAM. Why would I want pissing JAM in there? Seriously. Jam, I ask you. Since when does jam go with chocolate sponge?

So I ate the Flake and binned the rest of the cake out of principle. Not happy.

Guys, don't mix vodka and cider. It was a bad choice.
