No! Not that accursed piece of music, with its extended chromatic scales!
(Note: I don't hate the 1812.) _________________ 日本へ行こう!

Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection": 1st Mov - Gustav Mahler
Ah, my favorite composer of his era. Also up there, and right before him, is Anton Bruckner. Both wrote exceptionally lengthy symphonies. _________________ 日本へ行こう!

"Fifth Chapter - Parting" - Kenji Ito, Orchestrated by Takayuki Hattori, Seiken Densetsu.
Classic Ito, in orchestration! This is beyond what words can describe, in terms of awesomeness. (Maybe not.) _________________ 日本へ行こう!

"Rei III" - Shiro Sagisu, Neon Genesis Evangelion
This wasn't actually used in the show. Although it's good music, it's a little too melodramatic (as Sagisu's music can be at times) for any given scene that it could have been used in. _________________ 日本へ行こう!

"Distant Worlds" - Nobuo Uematsu, Final Fantasy XI Piano Collections
Piano arrangement of yet another Uematsu vocal song. This one wasn't bad though, although it's not too special an arrangement. _________________ 日本へ行こう!

I've got their first album. It's very good! Tom Morello kicks so much arse.
Aaand I'm listening to "Gravity Eyelids" by Porcupine Tree, which are also an amazing band. |
