Myst is good if you like that sort of thing.
Atmospheric and slow paced but no where near as good as Phoenix Wright.
Also, Jake likes the most obscure games. I did think about getting Musashi: Samurai Legend at one time though. _________________ Young men, you're getting detention for being without shorts

| I know next to nothing about the sequel, aside from that I think Tetsuya Nomura ruined Musashi's design. Completely. |

No! Bad Izzhov! Very bad Izzhov! _________________ [quote="Tommy"]Tinytim got it.
At a guess he probably stopped playing it after 5 minutes.

Did you actually beat it at 7 years old without cheating? I daresay you are a genius if you did.

Myst is the best of them tbqh imho iirc. |
I don't really think merely being on the same platform is a solid basis for comparison tho. Pokemon is an RPG and Myst is, I dunno, an adventure game I guess? Your basically going "MMM this apple is delicious much better than papayas om nom nom"when you should be comparing Granny Smiths with Golden Deliciouses or something.
Myst and Phoenix Wright are better to compare since they're both games about collecting items and solving puzzles. |

So you're saying that people aren't allowed to have a favorite video game because to do that you'd have to compare it to all the other games you've played? |

I didn't actually say anything like that?
You didn't say "Myst is my favorite DS game" or even "I like Myst better than Phoenix Wright or Pokemon Diamond." You said it was "clearly superior", which to me invokes the sense of comparing the games on critical rather than personal level. |

Oh. I wasn't aware there was a difference.

Sweet.
I haven't played Smash in a few days but I have so much work that I will be able to play when it's done. |

I've been playing Command & Conquer 3 lately. I don't know why I didn't get it when it came out, as I loved Red Alert 2. Sometimes I hate RTS games (Warcraft 3, StarCraft), but sometimes I'm like OMGOGMOGMOG THIS IS SO COOL. (WarCraft 2, Red Alert 2, Age of Empries 2, lots of 2s)
So yeah, it has lots of explosions and other good things. _________________ Compassion is the radicalism of our time.

I have Phantom Brave.
I have not started it yet.
Or will do for a long time...
I think he's talking about how this is the sort of game that lasts hundreds of hours. _________________ Young men, you're getting detention for being without shorts

Indeed. I loved the Disgaea series and have mastered both games on the PS2, but it took me 300 hours of my life to do so, the most I've ever spent on any game. It has rendered me into a hollow shell of my former self. I'm forced to eat through a tube now.

Time Hollow.
It started out as an unusual if slightly dull adventure game where you have to draw portals to the past to fix current problems. Your meddling opens up a new problem and so on...
However, it's now splintered into a massive mindf__k of multiple plot strands spanning different time zones across parallel universes. It's like being trapped in a re-ocurring nightmare. (Groundhog Day on acid to use a bad cliche.)
If all the plot ends don't get tied up at the end I'll be upset.
Anyway, it's no Hotel Dusk but probably good for people who like that type of thing.
P.S. it also does that absolutely maddening thing that many Japanese videogames do with their stories when something extremely vital has happened (a murder, someone acting very suspicious), yet it breaks this up with minor side stories (eg. the hero looking for a lost dog) which makes me want to scream 'What are you doing!?' _________________ Young men, you're getting detention for being without shorts

Taffy is a type of chewy candy. Taffy is made by stretching or pulling a sticky mass of boiled sugar, butter, flavorings, and coloring until fluffy. When this process is complete, the taffy is rolled, cut into small pastel-coloured pieces and wrapped in wax paper to keep it soft. It usually has a fruity flavor, but other flavors are common as well, including molasses and the classic unflavored taffy.
In the United Kingdom, taffy has no real identity in its own right, but can be found in the form of popular names such as Chewits or Starbursts. _________________ "" |
